Come learn a few new tricks and mixes at the bar with John Sabbe!

John Sabbe is currently a bartender at Tipsy McSway’s located in Brunswick, Ga. John has a diverse background ranging from a certified coffee master, bartender, brewer, and cook.

John is a dedicated member of the United States Bartenders Guild and is currently working on achieving his second level Cicerone certification. He is passionate about the ingredients he uses to craft his cocktails; a passion that guides him to create many of his own bitters, shrubs, and infusions.

By using this knowledge John is able to craft the perfect cocktails combined with the perfect environment; a goal he strives for every day.

Dates: September 9th, October 25th, and December 16th

Each class is $40 per person or sign up for all 3 for $100.

Healthy Cooking with Flava from Puerto Rico

Chef Amadeus is taking over The Farmer & The Larder kitchen to bring the Golden Isles a taste of Puerto Rican Flava.

 

Chef Amadeus, the winner of the Food Networks Extreme Chef “Mexican Showdown and creator of Southern Passion, a salt-free line of spices, host of Extreme Food Fights, host of Southern Passion Lounge creator of Southern Passion Spices, was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He grew up cooking with his grandmother who was from Puerto Rico and mother from Philadelphia.

Chef Amadeus has taken his passion from the apron strings of his grandmother and mother to Seattle to the Caribbean and back to his mother’s kitchen. Yes, Chef Amadeus still enjoys cooking for his mother. He feels that the time he spends with his mother fuels his desire and passion for being more creative when preparing dishes for his clients.

Chef Amadeus passion for creating amazing flavors, always searching for new techniques, and mentoring up and coming chefs has taken him to the shores of Europe, The Caribbean, Pacific Northwest and back to Jacksonville.  

When the question is asked, who is Chef Amadeus? he simply replies,

“I am just a lil fella that loves to cook."
